Heather Haringa is a Professional Counselor licensed by the state of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage & Family Therapist Board. Heather earned her BS in Human Development and Family Science from The Ohio State University. She also earned two MA degrees - one in Education from Ashland University and one in Clinical Counseling from the University of Dayton. Heather is a member of the American Counseling Association and is also an elementary school counselor. 

 Heather specializes in working with children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of needs including but not limited to: grief, anxiety, depression, relationship and parenting challenges, trauma, and LGBTQ+ issues. Heather uses a client focused approach focusing on personal goals using CBT, attachment work, and internal family systems. She is committed to creating a non-judgmental, warm and compassionate space for her clients to feel safe and supported.

Nissa Rinaldi is a Professional Counselor licensed by the state of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage & Family Therapist Board. She earned her BA in Developmental Psychology at the University of Windsor and her MA in Counseling Psychology at Yorkville University in Canada. Nissa is a member of the American Counseling Association as well as the Association of Multicultural Counseling & Development.

Nissa specializes in treating depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorders in children, teens, and adults. She also enjoys providing couples counseling. She is the owner of Sabre The Therapy Dog and brings Sabre to appointments upon request. She utilizes cognitive behavioral and solution focused therapies as well as EMDR to assist her clients in reaching their unique goals.​

Ethan Briggs is a licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor licensed by the state of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage & Family Therapist Board. Ethan earned his BSW from Mount Vernon Nazarene University where he majored in Social Work with a minor in Psychology. Ethan earned his MSW from The Ohio State University. 

Ethan utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, strengths based therapy, and elements of play therapy in his treatment. He specializes in treating anxiety, depression, behavior management, and LGBTQ+ issues, mainly focusing on work with children and adolescents. Ethan utilizes the strengths and supports of those that he works with to make long-lasting change through a variety of skill building techniques and processing.

Inner Harmony Health & Wellness

Sabre The Therapy Dog is a member of American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen and is Licensed with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. She is a 4-year-old Goldendoodle who assists Nissa Rinaldi, LPC at Inner Harmony Health & Wellness during therapy sessions with children and adults.

​Research has indicated that our connection with animals, particularly dogs, is historical, neurobiological, social, and emotional. The research on Animal-Assisted Therapy has shown strong evidence that therapy dogs help reduce stress, increase rapport, foster comfort, and aid clients of all ages to become more aware of their emotional reactions (Perry, Rubinstein & Austin, 2012).
